Crate Paper Lillian

One of my favourite ranges is Crate Paper Lillian. I love the colours and texture of the papers and the glitter dies cuts are just gorgeous.
Luckily for me, Mikala is loving the camera at the moment so I am getting lots of beautiful shots of her...wish I could say the same about Jake but he just runs when I get the camera ready.
I have added a bit of stitching and some Jenni Bowlin Vintage stickers.

Hope you have had a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by.

My cricket mad boy

I thought I would share this layout of my cricket loving son Jake. He was so excited when he got picked for the under 14's representative team last year. His team recently won the final against Grafton and it was a great game. These photos show him all decked out with his new gear.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Wedding card

I have just returned from a trip to McLaren Vale in SA where I attended the wedding of my good friend Kim to Chris. The wedding was held at the gorgeous Chapel Hills winery. Unfortunately it rained and Kim's plans of having the ceremony on the terrace had to be changed to holding it indoors. I love this photo taken when they were being presented as man and wife with rose petals falling around them. The ceremony was lovely and we had a wonderful time.

This is the card I made for the two of them. As they were having a wishing well, I designed the card as a money holder. It was very easy to make and I can see myself making more of these to hold gifts of money and gift cards.

Thanks for stopping by and any comments :)

Challenge layouts to share

Just a quick share as I have not had a lot of time for scrapbooking lately but I did manage to get these layouts done using yummy Basic Grey June Bug papers. This page of my niece Zoe and nephew Elvis is for the February sketch challenge over at Anna's Craft Cupboard. I love Wendy's sketches and they have a great prize on offer. I love the colours in this range...very bright and cheery.

This layout is for the February stash stomper at Scrap Boutique. The sketch is by the talented Em and we were required to use up our paper scraps and add some stitching for dimension on the page. It's always scary when I bring out the sewing machine as I am not a good sewer...but I am happy with the way it turned out. Love these photos of my dd Mikala and her friend Jessica taken at the Coffs Harbour Jetty...it sure is a beautiful spot for photos and they had a great time splashing in the waves.

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping :)
