Another Challenge Entry

Each month Scrapbooking From Scratch have an awesome sketch challenge. This is my entry for July. I have used the Pink Paislee Bayberry range and added a couple of flowers and some leaves made with my new Cuttlebug quilling die set. They are super easy to make and look fantastic. The little girl is my gorgeous niece Chloe...isn't she sweet!

Wow! I don't think I have ever completed so many challenges in a month. I think I may be addicted to them :)

Challenge entries to share

I completed this page last night for the Scrap Boutique monthly competition. It is their birthday this month and the challenge was a nice easy one... all we had to do was include a yummy birthday cake. The photos are not the best (which I usually find with birthday photos) but I had fun with these gorgeous OA Fly a Kite papers. Mikala loved her cupcake birthday cake that her Gran made for her and they sure tasted very yum!

This is my entry for the Scrap the Girls July sketch challenge. I have used MME Love Me Do papers which are so bright and pretty. Mikala took the photo of us with my Mum...she is such a shutterbug, taking photos all the time, which I don't mind as she takes some great shots.

Enjoy your weekend... Hope it's not too cold in your part of the world and thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Scrap The Boys Challenge

Scrap the Boys challenge blog is back and the first challenge is a nice easy one... to record your boy's vital statistics right now. It was great to journal these facts about Jake... he can look back on them in future years and remember a little about what he was like at this age.

Thanks for stopping by xx

Scrap Boutique Challenge Entries

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I managed to fit in some scrapping time and have completed four layouts, which is almost unheard of for me. This one is for Amanda's Stylist challenge at Scrap Boutique. The only criteria was to scrap a photo over 10 years old and make it an 8.5"x11" page. I chose a photo of Jake when he was around 3 years old that had been sitting on my desk waiting to be scrapped. I have used some yummy OA Fly a Kite papers and stickers along with a few extras. I was a bit scared about doing a page this size but love it now and will certainly be doing more.

This layout of my husband Gavin with his Mum and Dad (taken in 1966) was for Em's Stash Stomper challenge. Em does the most amazing sketches and we were required to use up some of our recent favourite paper purchases which we were hoarding along with some brads and an optional chippy frame (which I didn't have). I have used OA Thrift Shop papers which are perfect for vintage style layouts. I have added a few stickers from the range, a Tim Holtz button and his fantastic film strip ribbon...along with some Kaisercraft brads and Thickers letters.

Thanks for stopping by...I will be back later in the week to share my other layouts xxx
