Yummy new Prima

Things have been pretty crazy here and there hasn't been a lot of time for crafting :(

I have had a play with the gorgeous new Prima Songbird collection for ScrapBoutique. I love the soft colours and little birdies in this range...

I love the Prima alphas and words in this collection and the packs of gorgeous Prima flowers and leaves are just perfect...

I also have a card I made from Sonia's challenge at the ScrapBoutique cybercrop last weekend...

made using beautiful MME Follow your Heart papers, chipboard and brad...

I love the quote "follow your heart and you will never go wrong".

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

March ScrapBoutique 'Strong & Brave' CC

It's CC time again at ScrapBoutique... and our theme is 'Strong & Brave'. Last night I hosted the speed scrap using a sketch by Creative Scrappers.

...and my page using some more MME Dilly Dally. I love the wood grain patterns that came with the MME ranges. Our strong & brave theme is in honour of all who are battling illness. My extra criteria for this challenge was to use 'a little bit of red' which is in honour of Stylist Amanda who recently lost her battle with cancer.

There are some great challenges this month and we have a special guest stylist, the lovely Sonia Thomason. Christine will be cooking up the roast this month, which is a blind scrap where the chef chooses from a list of suggestions from the forum girls. So why not pop over here and say hello and join in a challenge or two.

I have just received another stylist pack full of brand new goodness...

and here is a little sneak of what I have been playing with...

Hope you are having a lovely weekend and be sure to give someone you love an extra hug :-)

MME & Echo Park

I have a few more pages using MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up to share...
I have added some machine stitching and muslin to the banners. I am loving vellum on my pages right now.

lots of misting and rub ons added to the background here...
and hand stitching around the vellum.

and a page using the Echo Park This & That Graceful collection...
with more machine stitching :-)
I never would have thought I would fall in love with sewing on my pages, lol!
I always disliked sewing!

Today our fellow ScrapBoutique babe and Stylist Amanda O'Donnell was farewelled in Raymond Terrace by her family and friends :-( Amanda was a wonderful and inspiring woman who was a lovely friend to so many in the scrapping community.
 RIP Amanda.

New pages to share

I had a very scrappy time this past weekend...playing with lots of new goodies in my ScrapBoutique Stylist pack :-)

First up is MME Follow Your Heart Be Amazing...

I just love the colours and patterns in this collection!

and the chipboard pieces and brads are so gorgeous.

The fabulous MME Miss Caroline Dilly Dally...
I had been wanting to scrap these photos of my teenage son for a while and thought these papers were just perfect!

I have used Crafter's Workshop templates for the backgrounds...

This is my favourite paper of all time...MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up!

Love this photo of my daughter :-)

...and I love the pretty colours and patterns in this range :-)

a few close ups...

aren't they just the prettiest papers ever?  I just love the timber background! The rubons go on like a dream and I have added some cute Cosmo Cricket word stickers.

And lastly using Echo Park This & That!

My lovely Mother who recently turned 75 years young!

All these gorgeous new goodies are available now in the Boutique.

Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!

ScrapBoutique Stash Stomper

This month I have the Stash Stomper challenge at ScrapBoutique and I thought it was time to clear out some vellum! I have had this stuff in my stash for ages and rarely ever use it. I don't why as it is actually quite nice :) This is my page using a full sheet of vellum stitched to cardstock with Basic Grey Kissing Booth papers and stickers. The photo is of me aged about 6 months old.

and a little close up...

Last weekend we had our monthly cyber crop which was all about the leap year.

This was my challenge:

Your 12x12 layout can be about any subject... but as a leap year only comes around once every four years I would like you to include some fours on your page... four pattern papers, four embellies and a four word title! Please also include a calendar somewhere on your page.

...and my page using Simple Stories Yearography papers. I decided to scrap about me having three different jobs at the moment....which makes finding time to scrap and meeting my commitments hard at times :( There are some big changes coming up for my family soon and I am hoping to have some more me time :)

There are so many yummy new collections coming from CHA...what are you playing with? I have just received a huge ScrapBoutique stylist pack from Chelsea...full of gorgeous MME and Echo Park! So I am making time to create...even if it is with the owls for company, lol. I'm looking forward to receiving an order of Prima and Pink Paislee soon...

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope to get around all your blogs soon to catch up on what you have been creating :)
