She Art Canvas

Back again as I forgot to show you my canvas using the new Pink Paislee She Art range...
I saw this tutorial on Christy Tomlinson's blog and just had to try it for myself!

I have used She Art papers and 7 Gypsies tissue paper for the background, then applied a coat of Claudine Hellmuth studio paints in blue and green. I love these paints as they are transparent so the papers still show through. I have also used the doily mask (love this), diecuts and rubons as well as a few stamps from my stash!

If you haven't tried mixed media yet, you really must give it a go...it's SO much fun!
You can check out the range here.

Lots of creations to share

I have quite a few layouts to share with you today. The first one is my Sunday Roast layout from the ScrapBoutique CC last weekend. The criteria was to use pastel colours, mist and lace. I have used the new Pink Paislee London Market range!

Now onto some stylist pages...

...Glitz Design Happy Travels!
Oh how I love this photo of my late Aunt in the early 50's. I have also used some new Prima flowers, alphas and wooden clock.

And the Prima Meadowlark collection!
Such pretty papers! I have added new Prima stamps to the background and embellished with a Prima lace and crystal border and flowers. The banner is from Heidi Swapp...just love these!

Prima Nature Garden!
I just love the soft colours in this range... Again there is lots of new Prima here...a girl can never have enough Prima in her stash I think :)

It's been a while since I made a mini album and when I saw the Pink Paislee Spring Jubilee collage cards in my stylist pack I decided they would be great to cover beer coasters for an album about my daughter.

I have added photos that show the things she loves right now and that I think show her personality.

And lastly, a page using Authentique Celebrate!
I wasn't really happy with this one but thought I would share as I love these photos of my nephew Riley after a bike ride, lol.

All the products I have used are available now at ScrapBoutique
And there are lots of new goodies to be added to the Boutique soon!
Make sure you stop by the store and have a peek !

Easter Inspiration...a bit late though!

Good morning

Hope you are enjoying some sunshine in your part of the world!

This month I set the monthly challenge at ScrapBoutique and I chose an inspiration pic...

...gorgeous hand painted eggs

and my page featuring my cute and lovely niece and nephews on Easter morning...

...using the fabulous new range from Pink Paislee, Spring Jubilee!
I have used my reversed chicken wire template again...this time with gesso! Added some rub ons from the range, Prima resist canvas flowers, wooden buttons and clock along with some mixed flowers and leaves from Prima's newest collections. I included some pink sinamay (love this stuff I bought from Lincraft), Kaiser bling, Pink Paislee ephemera, OA little flyer flag (you have to get some of these if you haven't already, lol) and new foam thickers. All available now in the Boutique store!
Oh how I love playing with new goodies!!
Hope you have a wonderful day :)

April Kraft it Up using MME

Hi there

Hope everyone out in blogland had a wonderful Easter filled with love and happy memories for you to scrap. It's school holidays here and I am enjoying some relaxing time at home with the kids :) Sadly there is not a lot of creating happening, even though I have more time on my hands than I usually do!

One of my favourite challenge sites is Kraft It Up and I just had to play along this month. April's challenge is to use Kraft for your base along with three other kraft items.

I am so in love with the MME Follow Your Heart Be Amazing collection! The colours in this range are just so gorgeous and suitable for both boy and girls!

This is my page of my darling little nephews Flynn and Riley! Aren't they just the cutest boys?

I have used my Crafter's Workshop reversed chicken wire template with impasto and acrylic paint to create texture and add some colour to the background.

My three kraft items are all Tim Holtz products; the raw chipboard cog cut from an alterations die, the kraft tag and new word stickers that I recently purchased from ScrapBoutique. The stickers come in a pack of white and kraft with lots of great words for journaling. I love Tim's products...have you seen that the man himself will be at the Scrapbook Expo in Brisbane on the June long weekend? Bet the ladies will be fighting for a spot to watch his demo's! I will be if I happen to make it to the expo. lol

Hope you have a great week!
