Birthday class and time to cc

Hi there

My birthday class is up in the ScrapBoutique forum so I thought I would share with you here...

If you would like to see how I made the weather boards, you can check it out here.

The Birthday cyber crop starts tonight at 7.30pm and you have until midnight 1 August to get your entries in the gallery.

Don't forgot the massive Birthday Sale is on right now and you can save 20% - 50% off everything in the store! How good is that!!

Hope to see you there!

It's Boutique Birthday time...

Hello there
I'm excited to say that ScrapBoutique is celebrating it's 5th Birthday this month! There will be lots of fun in the forum...we are having an extra long cyber crop starting on 27 July and the stylist's will all be sharing some great techniques throughout the week in their fun mini classes! I hope to see you there :)
I was lucky enough to receive some gorgeous October Afternoon Cakewalk in my stylist pack...just perfect for the birthday month ;)

I also found a canvas, Studio Calico butterflies and Kaiser rubons in my pack! I love mixed media and totally {love} these wooden butterflies!! I stamped them and smeared on some paint and gesso before carefully snapping them in the middle to create dimension!

And a small peek of my birthday class project...

I was very excited to see my layout in the current issue of Scrapbooking Memories magazine!
It sure is nice to see your work in print :)

That's all for today! Don't forget to pop into the Boutique during the celebrations and say hello :)

A few scrappy shares

Hi there

Hope you are having a happy weekend!
I have a few layouts to share using Basic Grey PB&J which I received in my latest ScrapBoutique stylist pack. This range has some great patterns suitable for boy and girl pages. I have been having fun using different Crafter's Workshop templates on most of my pages lately and just love adding lots of stitching!

I am hosting the monthly challenge in the forum for July and my challenge is to use circles. This is my page using October Afternoon Sarsparilla papers.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. I hope the sun is shining in your part of the world!

More cc pages to share!

Good morning

I am happy to say that I completed all the ScrapBoutique cyber crop challenges this month!
This one was for Chelsea's old school photo and quote challenge...using the words from Cat Stevens song 'Remember the days of the old school yard, we used to laugh a lot'.

I have used 6x6 papers and chipboard from the Crate Paper School Spirit collection.

And this one is for Karen's Roast...

...using Basic Grey Wander papers. This was lots of fun, getting messy with paint, inks and splashing lots of mist around :)

Back with more pages to share...

Hi There

Just wanted to share my challenge page from the ScrapBoutique June cc. My challenge is to scrap a 'first' school or holiday experience using multiple photos.

My page using some scraps from the Crate Paper Storyteller range...

I have used a Prima mask and painted on some Plain Jane Stained Glass (just love the bright colours in this new product), Kaisercraft stamp, Sassafrass and October Afternoon alphas and some chipboard from my stash.

Now to share the page I did at Angela Peardon's class at the Brisbane Expo. I really love Angela's style and she is a wonderful teacher!

Angela showed us how to make a weatherboard background and I must say I totally loved this technique! There is lots of layering going on here and all the Scrapmatts pieces are just exquisite.

We made a flower from  this gorgeous Maya Road zip ribbon...I can't wait to get some of this when it is available in Australia.

Hope you have enjoyed your visit today!
