Feeling Sketchy | Card Sketch # 106

Hey there,

The latest card sketch has now been posted at Feeling Sketchy!
The fabulous sponsors for the month are Molossi and Aurora Wings.

And the design team were lucky to work with some beautiful digital stamp designs from Aurora Wings.
This is the sketch....

And my card which I have coloured the image with copic markers.
I am in no way an expert with Copics but still enjoyed colouring my chosen design. I layered some soft pattern papers, added organza ribbon, a stamped sentiment and a few gems.

I do hope you join us for the challenge!

Feeling Sketchy | Card Sketch # 105

Hi there
Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
Today I wanted to share the latest card sketch at Feeling Sketchy.

And my take on the sketch using Prima papers, alpha stickers and wooden cog along with a couple of Tim Holtz metal cogs.

It's a nice easy sketch so hope to see lots of entries over on the blog.

World Card Making Day Designs

Hey there,

Yesterday was WCMD and I played along with a few of the challenges at Studio Calico!

First up is this card where we were required to use digital stamps, die cuts or printables.
I decided to use printables that I already had cut out - vellum labels and a circle sentiment I had printed on cardstock and punched out with my circle punch.

I then had a play along with the challenge to use some sort of colouring on your card. I stamped circles with gelatos to create a pattern and then punched out different size circles to use in the design.
I'm super happy how this one turned out.

And lastly I joined in with the challenge to use touches of gold - not a hard challenge for me as I love gold!
I stamped and embossed the cake image and decided to add lots of little gold embellishments - sequins, stars and the gorgeous flair button!

I hope you had the chance to make a card and if not you still have a few days to get one completed and into the challenge at Studio Calico.

Art + Design Workshop layout - Incredible

Hello again

I seem to have a bit of an addiction to classes but then rarely find the time to participate or even finish them :(
Anyway, I couldn't resist and I enrolled in the Art & Design class over at Big Picture Classes. This class is taught by the talented Wilna Furstenberg.
Oh my goodness the first weeks videos just blew me away!
The design and techniques used on the layouts is just amazing. And there is a bunch of free stuff designed by Wilna included too :)
Now I have a love/hate relationship with my Silhouette Cameo but really these goodies are to good not to use and I am determined to not let that machine beat me! So last night I fired her up and went about cutting some files and also mastered my first print and cut...Yay!

And this is my layout from lesson 3...
working with Grids

and using gelatos on the background cardstock!

It was so much fun working on this page and I can't wait to start on another soon...if I can drag myself away from the week 2 videos that is!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed your visit.

Feeling Sketchy Layout Sketch #104

Hey there,
It's time for the latest LO sketch at Feeling Sketchy. Another great design by our talented sketch designer Debi Clark.

I started my page by misting with a Kaisercraft stencil and layered up some Prima papers and Studio Calico labels that I printed onto vellum. I embellished with Prima stickers and couldn't resist adding a few mini roses as well :)

Our generous sponsor is Molossi and all entries received for the month will go into a draw to win a $30 voucher!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today

Feeling Sketchy Card Sketch # 103

Hi there

It's hard to believe that October is here already and that means it's time for a new sketch over at Feeling Sketchy.

And this one is a beauty created by Debi Clark.

And this is my take on the sketch where I have used mint and chalkboard papers topped with an older clear sticker by Heidi Swapp. This has been in my stash for absolutely forever and it certainly feels good to include an older item! I have punched out some paper circles and embellished with a few buttons and enamel dots.

Once again we are sponsored by the fabulous Molossi and there is a $30 voucher up for grabs.
I hope to see your entries over on the blog!
